Prior to providing any garden design services, Green Shoots (Gardening and Horticulture) will visit you to discuss your requirements. Prior to providing any garden design services, you will be provided with a written quote for the garden design services you require and a proposed payment schedule. The agreed services, price and payment schedule will form the basis of a written agreement.
2. Garden survey
This is a plan of your existing garden.
3. Garden brief
Based on a discussion with you, this is a document that captures garden ideas (e.g. photographs, lists of garden features, landscaping materials and intended uses) and other thoughts (e.g. timescales and the amount of time you want to spend maintaining your garden).
4. Garden sketch
This is an initial sketch of garden design ideas based on the garden survey and brief.
5. Garden plan
This is a finalised sketch based on discussions about the initial garden sketch.
6. Planting plan
This is a list of plants and updated garden plan, showing the positions of specific plants.
7. Landscaping plan
This is a list of landscape materials and updated garden plan showing them in situ.
8. Cost plan
This can include costs for plants, landscaping materials, machinery hire, waste removal and labour.
9. Works plan
This is a programme of landscaping and gardening works showing the order of activity and timescales.
10. Purchasing
Plants, landscaping materials, machinery hire and waste removal can be acquired or arranged on your behalf subject to payment for the same in advance.
11. Landscaping and gardening worksThis is undertaking the landscaping and gardening works in line with the garden and works plans. Where necessary subcontractors are used.
